She’s a Gospel artist and a proud representative of the religious community, but I wouldn’t say this is the typical sound or songs you’d find in church. At least, not the churches I spent my youth growing up in, that’s for sure – if the music had sounded like this, I’d probably still be participating in religion to this very day.
